We have our own farm in Romania, where we grow our own grain

We believe that it is essential to maintain a connection with the raw materials that we trade. We take this so seriously that we actually grow grain ourselves at our farm, located beside the Danube in Dolj County, Southern Romania.

By buying, renting and exchanging plots we are now in possession of around 4000 hectares of fertile land. Our Romanian colleagues grow maize, wheat, barley, sunflowers, oil seed rape, soya beans and peas there.

This initiative feeds into our understanding of every aspect of the business, right across the supply chain. And understanding is the starting point for every relationship of trust.
