Bioethanol
Supplier, buyer and partner of biorefineries
Vanden Avenne Commodities holds a stake in the production of 720,000 cubic metres of ethanol, via Alco Energy Rotterdam and Alco Bio Fuel. We ensure the supply of European, non-GM maize (1,725,000 MT) and we market Proticorn DDGS® (480,000 MT), the dry residual fraction of the maize pulp from these biorefineries. Alco Bio Fuel is part of the basis for the Flanders Biobased Valley. Today there is continuing investment in innovation & sustainability.
